About Cascais

Cascais is a coastal town 25 minutes west of Lisbon. The former fishing village is one of the richest municipalities in Portugal. The Cascais municipality has over 180.000 inhabitants of which 35.000 live in the town of Cascais. It gained its fame as resort for royal families, celebrities and business tycoons who built exquisite villas in the area. Cascais has grown into a popular holiday destination for both Portuguese and foreign tourists.

The town hosts a wide variety of shops, restaurants, bars and clubs.Cascais is a magnet for those looking to practice every sport and leisure activity.
